Marc Lavine

Director of Capital Markets

Marc Lavine, is the Director of Capital Markets for Simon Baron and is responsible for overseeing the capital markets activities and investor relations for the firm’s projects. 

Prior to joining Simon Baron, Marc was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank where he spent almost 20 years as a leader in the leverage finance group.  At Deutsche Bank, Marc sold and helped structure high yield corporate debt and derivative products on behalf of the bank’s institutional clients.

Marc is a National Committee member for Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Cycle for Survival, a national fundraising movement for rare cancer research.  Having been there since almost inception, Marc has helped Cycle for Survival raise over $100 million over 9 years with 100% of that money going to the research.

Marc graduated in 1995 with an MBA from Columbia Business School and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University.
